If you already use Android Auto in your car this information is for you. Facebook has launched its Messenger app for anyone to use while driving.

As explained by Techcrunch, the only thing you have to do is have the latest version of the application installed in your Android phone. This will allow you to connect it with the platform and use its features.

Facebook Messenger in Android Auto lets you listen and respond to messages easily and without being distracted from the wheel. As explained by the social network to the site source, the app will allow you to tap a button which you will read automatically all the messages, without having to touch your mobile, all thanks to the voice command platform of Google.

Other function that is curious is that you’ll be able to press a button and send a message to whom you are writing that says “I’m driving now”, automatically and with less danger than doing it from mobile, something that a lot of people do despite the laws in most cities prohibit.

Android Auto is already available in more than 200 new car models of 50 different brands, according to Techcrunch, a figure that would be higher than that of CarPlay from Apple.

Apps such as Google Maps, Hangouts, Skype, Spotify, Deezer or Waze are now available on Android Auto, which not only can be used in the US but also has a presence in twenty countries.
