12 Samsung phones and tablets update to Android 6.0: report – CNET in Spanish



Cellular as the Galaxy S6 new Edge receive the update, but other ancient as the Note 4 .

Several reports say Samsung will launch a series of devices under the name Galaxy S7 during the Mobile World Congress in February devices, and now the site SamMobile – based on other sources – reported that the company updated 12 mobile devices to Android 6.0 Marshmallow during the first quarter of 2016, probably during the same fair <. /> p>

Among the devices that receive the update are models of 2015 as the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge +, as well as some older, among which are the Note 5, Note Edge, Note 4 and more Galaxy S5 models.

For the second quarter update to Android 6.0 Alpha Galaxy and Galaxy Tab tablets A is expected, Galaxy S2 S2 9.7 inches and 8 inches, according to the same report.

Since then Samsung has not confirmed nor denied this information. November reports claimed that the upgrade would begin in early December, but so far has not been carried out.

Samsung have already upgraded some devices in November, though not Android 6.0. Attempts have been made over security patches or upgrades for the Galaxy S5 and S6 Edge +, for example. This week Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A8 and A9, yet both come preloaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop, the old version of the operating system of Google.
