Google will improve multitasking on Android for tablets – CNET in Spanish

Google this week launched its first tablet, the Google Pixel C. The tablet provides the best in Android but is lacking in software, showing that Android still has much room for improvement, especially in terms of multitasking.

However, Google knows these shortcomings and is already working on how to improve them. In a question and answer session on Reddit site, the team behind the Pixel C Google said that one of these improvements is support for split-screen applications.

“We are working on a number of improvements to Android in this respect There are many things like multi-window, in which we have worked hard -. Look forward to sharing more about this soon,” said one of executives during the session.

The Google Pixel C is the first official attempt by Google in the tablet market. It is a hybrid device thanks to the existence of an official keyboard and the ability to connect a wireless mouse tablet via Bluetooth.

Despite this, the Pixel C arrangements still needed, especially in software. As Juan Garzon, CNET editor in Spanish, in his analysis of the tablet says: “Marshmallow Android does not offer any native productivity must come as a real alternative to a laptop traditional”.

But, leaving aside the software, Garzon says that “Google Pixel C is the best Android tablet of the year, but lacks the native Android evolution of productivity”.

The Pixel C was released on December 8 Settings 32GB and 64GB, priced at US $ 499 and US $ 599, respectively. The keyboard is sold separately for $ 149.
