Shared Google Photos albums are now available for … – CNET in Spanish

The Google service Photos added support for creating shared iOS, Android and Web albums.

This feature, added on Thursday, creates an album to share with friends and contacts, and guests can join the album to add their own photos. This feature will come in handy more than a family and groups of friends this holiday season.

The compatibility of editing and creating albums shared among multiple applications is a plus for Google Photos, since the albums shared iCloud in iOS and OS X can only be shared among users and edit the Apple platform.

Launched in May, Google Photos is a Web application, iOS and Android with which users can upload their photos in high quality or resolution (for a special price) to the cloud of Google. By October, Google announced that its application and had 100 million users.

The shared Google Photos albums are available in the latest version of the app for iOS and Android, now available in the app stores.
