This is the great alternative to the “Android” we all know, being as it is in its essence the Google software. Cyanogen OS is already present as an operating system in different brands like OnePlus, BQ or yesterday, knew the Wileyfox. However, they all have for now version 12.1 which is still Lollipop but it seems that for a short time because date would Cyanogen Android 6.0 OS 13 Marshmallow.

How BQ makers themselves told us, updating Cyanogen OS does not reach directly, but it is the company’s software which passes to the manufacturer when it is ready and these are the first they test, adjust and launch the OTA for their services.
Without going any further, yesterday at the launch of another brand with Cyanogen OS in Spain, Wileyfox we asked the same question and got a more specific date for update, end of March 2016. that is why some, it seems, manufacturers need a month to adapt the software to their computers.
We would know, finally, if those who have a OnePlus One will have much trouble getting the new version of the software. Since the Chinese company said they would continue supporting although they had “divorced” from Cyanogen on OnePlus Two and to bet on the Oxygen OS. But we’ll see if they do not take more calmly than in the past, or invite users to make the switch from ROM to which now are working.
