How to activate ‘tap to search’ in Chrome for Android – CNET in Spanish

Chrome for Android offers a function to search with the touch screen without necessarily having to go to the home page of Google. That works if you keep your finger down on a word or phrase to see a small window at the bottom of the screen and, from there, you can touch to complete a search and see the results opens.

this feature or if you find it useful and were using, but suddenly disappeared, you can activate it in a few steps

Step 1. in Chrome for Android, go to: chrome: // flags / # contextual-search. If you’re reading this on a phone, just click the link above to go there.

Step 2: in the drop-down menu, select enabled (enabled)

Step 3. Restart your app for Chrome from the alert to be displayed

Now you can context sensitive searches pressing a word or phrase on your device.
