How to join the beta version of Snapchat Android – CNET in Spanish

Snapchat users on Android devices can participate in an open beta version of the app. The beta programs allow companies to test new features and updates before releasing them to other users, gathering important information, and correct some kinks.

The beta program Snapchat is not new, because it came from the end of 2013. But unless you’ve run into the registration page on the Settings section (Settings) from the app or on the website of Snapchat, is likely to desconozcas its existence.

Unlike other apps, sometimes Snapchat allows users refuse to beta test specific individual functions.

This is how you can register and test future features in Android Snapchat:

  • Open the app on your Android device
  • from the Home screen slide your finger down
  • tap the Settings icon (Settings).
  • Find the Advanced section (Advanced) and touch where Beta Snapchat says.
  • Choose me (Count me in).

Snapchat instructions ask you to turn off and re-install the app, but if you wait a few minutes you should see an update to the app in the Play Store.

you can see and control what functions active betas you have installed on your device by going to Settings (Settings) and selecting Snapchat Beta. At the end of the list you will see the functions and you can turn them off if you want, if this option is available. From here you can also refuse to participate in the beta, if you decide to do so.
