One of the challenges of buying online is that, more than anything, you always need to have a credit card. But almost one month after the start of the christmas shopping, an agreement between Google, Mastercard and Visa could facilitate this process through mobile devices.

Google on Monday announced that users of the service of mobile payment Android Pay, which is available for people with an Android phone compatible, can now run a mobile payment on the Web using their fingerprints on sites that also accept the services Visa Checkout and Mastercard Masterpass.

“This partnership with Visa and Mastercard is an example of how Android Pay can work with the existing solutions from our partners to improve the experience of payments for users and merchants alike,” said Pali Bhat, the leader of the unit of payment products for Google, in a blog post.

To begin to pay Android Pay at these websites, the user must link their accounts from Visa and Mastercard to Android Pay, explained Google blog.

Other mobile payment services such as PayPal have also been updating its functions. PayPal recently announced that it would allow its users to choose a credit card, like Visa or Mastercard, to pay for a product or a service.
