Google seems to be stepping up during these last few days a few tests that you are performing in your bar of search on Android devices with a small group of users that use their latest beta version.

These tests consist of the integration of a sub-widget with a background semi-transparent button located at the bottom of the searchbar from which to provide information related to weather, travel and local information.

This information works the same way as the notifications, so that users will be able to press the same to access the information in a more detailed manner or to disregard it completely.

As indicated from Android Police, users who want to have this new widget available, you will have to go to the configuration options where, in the event that Google has chosen for these tests, you will see a new option to activate call Widget.

at the moment we know until now is thanks to those users who have been sharing their screenshots via various social platforms. It is not known if Google will have the intention to bring finally this sub-widget to all users.

it Seems that Google intended to prevent certain information to appear within the notifications, placing them instead under your bar of search, with the aim of giving them more visibility in a time in which the users can receive notifications on their mobile devices.
