“This is the first step in a strategy to multi-screen which also provides for the development of new applications for iOS devices and SmarTVs”, reported since the initiative launched in November 2015 by the Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (Incaa).
The new Android app is available for free download in Google Play since last Friday.
Odeon, characterized as the “Netflix argentino” for the type of service it offers, is a platform video on demand that depends of the Incaa and the national telecommunications company Arsat, and has a catalog of over 1,100 hours of content and more than 388.000 registered users, reported the bodies in a statement.
The service was launched in November 2015 and is one of the new screens of display of the audiovisual content of the Incaa, along with a TV channel dedicated 24 hours to the argentine cinema, no cuts, available on the platform of FREEVIEW and pay TV operators.
