In 2015, during its conference for developers, Google introduced Project Brightness as the solution for the Internet of Things (IoT). After receiving feedback from developers, the company decided to change the name to Android Things.

This operating system will allow developers to use SDKs, APIs and other family members that likely already know to be Android developers.

Android Also Things will be updated in the coming weeks to provide regular updates that solve some of the problems of the platform and to provide more safety, as it gives you the possibility to developers to release their own updates.

in Addition, Google also announced updates to its protocol Weave that allows you to connect smart devices with the cloud and services like Google Assistant, in addition to bringing compatibility to the platform of the Wemo from Belkin, to allow control of switches and sockets smart using just your voice.
