The experts explained that the virus, new modification of the trojan Faketoken, comes disguised as some programs and games and steal the data of more than 2,000 financial applications for Android.

indicates that the majority of those affected are users from Russia, Ukraine, Germany and Thailand.
The new virus is not only capable of blocking the device to steal money, but also of encrypting the data.
Kaspersky Lab points out that banking trojans is not typical to encrypt the information,
because in most cases block the device itself and not the data that you have. 
To protect yourself from the virus, the company recommends you control the access permissions of applications.
