Super Mario Run Android does not have a release date defined, but it is more likely to happen in 2017. However, since there are several details that paint a picture a bit clear for those who expect the mobile game from Nintendo for the platform of Google.

release Date: 2017

All indications are that Super Mario Run comes to Android in 2017, unless Nintendo want to put their fans on Android for over a year.

Just Apple boasted in September of exclusivity of Super Mario Run, the question was raised of when it would arrive the same game to the platform rival. For the same dates, Nintendo told the site culture Website Kotaku that the game would come to Android in the future, but nothing more.

why first in iOS?

Although there is not a reason confirmed, everything seems to indicate that the reason why it is one of the taboos larger on Android: security.

Shigeru Miyamoto, the “father of Mario”, had an interview with the website Mashable to talk about the development of the game, where it found that “the element of security is one of the reasons to go with iPhone and iOS first.”

In fact, Miyamoto addresses another of the most important issues: the need of the Internet for Super Mario Run work. The creative said that the game needs the Internet to prevent piracy, another of the taboos larger on Android, where it is very easy to download apps without paying.

Taking this into account, we now know why Nintendo is taking so damn long to launch Super Mario Run for Android.

Beware of the imitators

we Know that wait patient while the platform rival enjoy is not easy, but the expected rewards. The law of life, eh…

In a separate article –given its importance–, we emphasize that there is no lack of developers who want to take advantage of the interest and are already creating imitations of Super Mario Run to take advantage of the users.

This not only can lead to a big disappointment, but the application that downloads –not official, and from outside the Play Store– may contain malware that puts in danger the integrity of your phone, or even worse, your data.

We recommend waiting patient; in CNET in Spanish we will have the information when the acclaimed plumber arrives to Android.
