The final version of Android Nougat for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will be the version 7.1.1 and not 7.0 as many had hoped, according to a message supposedly received by a user of the forum of developers of the operating system XDA in your phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Beta Program currently lets users with a Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge try Android 7.0 Nougat, but the company is still working on the final version of the new flavour of Android before it is enabled for everyone.

Android 7.1.1 Nougat is the most recent version of the operating system, and only a few days ago that Google started to release this update to Google Pixel and Nexus.

Although the change of the update is not as drastic, one of the main differences is that Android 7.1.1 Nougat brings the compatibility of shortcuts of the apps on the Home screen, in addition to some small improvements in the performance of the cell.

Although it is good that Samsung plan to release the latest version, it is not clear whether this may delay the release for users.
