Android Nougat would begin to reach cellular Sony in October – CNET in Spanish

The program updates from Sony leaked to the Web, and reveals that the company would begin to release the update to Android Nougat for the Sony Xperia X Performance and Xperia XZ in October.

The blog XperiaBlog has published a slide from a presentation of Sony in which he reveals some estimated dates that the company will begin to release the update to Android 7.0 Nougat.

Although the company detailed at the end of August the devices that will be updated to Android Nougat — or at least the first of them — is now now that you know a estimated release date.

For example, cell phones are more advanced from Sony, Xperia X Performance and Xperia XZ will be of the first to receive the update to Android in October, while the Xperia X and Xperia X Compact will be the next to receive Android Nougat in November.

Also, the Xperia Z5, Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 Tablet will start receiving the update in December, while mobile phones as the Xperia XA and XA Ultra to start this process in early 2017.

The filtering does not mention devices like the Xperia M4 Aqua, M5, C5 Ultra and C4, so that it is possible these devices will not receive the update.
