Android is updated to receive security notifications on the screen

The notifications of Android will make it easier for you to see your safety information straight to your phone.

Google

on Monday, Google announced a new feature to its Android operating system which sends out alerts and security notifications to the user directly on the screen of your phone.

When you add a new device to the account of a user, the notifications native Android — which are those that appear directly on the screen of the phone — will warn the user that they have added a new device. The notifications also alert users about activity in their accounts.

If the activity is suspicious, users can choose to “Review the activity of the accounts” (Review Account Activity) and to discover which device has been added, from where, in addition to other related information. If the user already knew of this activity, the can ignore like any other notification. If not, the user can quickly change your password to give more security to your account.

Prior to this update, the warnings came in via email. Google believes that when you send notifications directly to your phone there are more chances that the user will see the information.

The update is already available.
