The search engine announced it will donate one dollar for purchases made until 31 December, through its Android Pay payment system, launched this year.
With this measure the company wants more users to use its payment system via mobile phones, which is already used by Samsung and Apple.
Android Pay works, so far in US .S in technology devices that have near-field communication, better known as NFC ( Near Field Communication ), which allows the exchange of instant information on devices that are located nearby.
The donation will be made to DonorsChoose.org foundation, charity division of the company.
