Flipboard launches collaborative journals on both iOS and Android

The personalized magazine Flipboard think it was a success because of the use that they are giving the users. Now, they have expanded their capacity allowing their creators give access to other users to contribute to some of which they created. This feature is available in the latest update just released for both iOS and Android.

The operation is very simple. On the cover of every magazine now have an option that says “Invite collaborators”. By clicking on it, we invite mail who want and to give access to add articles to the magazine you want. As partners, we’ll find the magazines in which we participate in Content> Your Flipboard, under our magazines.

collaborators avatars appear on the cover of the magazine, as it does ours. As owners of the magazine, if we want a collaborator and unable to add content, simply remove from the “Edit” we also on the cover. In the following video we see these features in action:

This new feature allows you get more out of the magazines, allowing enrich material selected from sources other than our own. Recall that Spain was among five countries that had created magazines, making sure this development will have considerable popularity in our country.
