The well-known brand of mobile devices Nokia has returned to the market with its first smart phone with Android. The company’s HMD, Global has presented to the public, revealing also some of the business plans related to the new model.
The Nokia 6 has a screen of 5.5 inches with a slight curvature in the glass that protects it, although not as deep as the one that has the Samsung Galaxy S7. Their cameras, back and front, have a resolution of 16 and 8 megapixels, respectively. The processor is eight-core and is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM memory.
The Nokia of the year 2013 and earlier worked with the operating systems Symbian, Windows Phone and Linux, but never with Android. But the changes suffered by the same brand in subsequent years are even more dramatic: the finns sold out to Microsoft, which shut down parts of the division of mobile devices to sell the rest, along with all rights to another company of Finland, precisely HMD.
The new owners (since may, 2016) have pointed out this Sunday that not only is going to manufacture the new product in China, but the asian country will be the only market where the model Nokia 6 will be available first. They opted for the chinese market, which has 550 million users of smart phones, due to their desire to “meet the needs of real world clients in different markets”, according to HMD in a statement.
The Android device will hit the strings sales this first quarter of 2017, and its price is estimated at $ 245. By the time the Finnish company has not decided on the possible expansion of your market with this or other models to other countries.
