The second phone, more important to HTC in 2015, the phone A9, you will receive the update to Android Nougat from Monday night, in accordance with one of the executives of the company.

In his account on Twitter, Mo Versi, vice president of product, said the company received the green light by the technical team for Android 7.0 starts to get to the model unlocked the A9, so the release will begin this evening.

The A9 is one of the few HTC phones — and the Android platform in general — have begun to receive the update to Android Nougat, despite the fact that the operating system was announced about half a year and already running on the phones Google Pixel and the compatible models of the line Nexus.

Another phones taiwanese that have been updated to Nougat is the HTC 10, that last November began to receive the update, starting with the model unlocked. The M9 is one of the other HTC phones confirmed for upgrade to Nougat.

it Is good news that Nougat comes one of the jewels of HTC. However, this breaks a commitment of the manufacturer. According to Android Police, HTC said that the A9 would receive the updates 15 days after these arrived in the Nexus, and it’s been almost 150 days since the Nexus are in Nougat.

don’t forget that in CNET in Spanish we have an article in constant update with the dates on which a wide range of phones will be updated to Nougat.
