LAS VEGAS -. It seems that this year Android BlackBerry bet everything on their new phones

The company in Ontario, Canada, plans to launch a new product, and maybe two, in 2016 . Both will work with Google’s mobile operating system, BlackBerry CEO, John Chen, said in an interview during CES technology fair in Las Vegas.

His comments followed the announcement that its flagship phone BlackBerry Privahora be available in Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile and Sprint This was the first business phone with Android, and so far has only been available exclusively with AT &.. T

The news will not be the please the fans of the BlackBerry, a very loyal group, although it is shrinking. BlackBerry will continue to exist, but will no longer offer devices with its own operating system BlackBerry 10. But there are more Android BlackBerry devices means that consumers now have more choices beyond brand Android phones like Samsung, HTC, LG and others.

Chen refused to say when will these phones or give more details.

Two months after sales started Priv, Chen said that “so far, going well”. Priv chose to launch the BlackBerry only with AT & T in the US because, according to Chen, the company did not have the resources for a pitch with all operators.

Priv plans to sell the BlackBerry, which currently costs US $ 699, in 31 countries in the coming quarters. Chen said the price is likely to fall over time.

As for the operating system, BlackBerry 10 fans still have hope. Chen declined to say whether the company will leave the software completely. This year, the company will seek a certification of national security to BlackBerry 10, so that devices with the OS can be used in government and corporate settings.
