Expand the contents of your Android device to your TV can be useful when you give a presentation, show your photos from a recent trip or play a video game.

In order to transmit the screen of your Android phone or tablet, your device must have Android 4.4.2 or higher operating system and a Chromecast. Typically, you will see the version of Android that has your device if you go to Settings (Setting) & gt; On the phone (About Phone) and then version of Android (Android version).

Google says on its website support any device with Android 4.42 or higher will be able to share your screen with a TV; However, some devices do better than others. The company offers a list of optimal devices here. I tested some devices that are not in the list and did not see a drastic difference in performance, but as always, the results can vary.

So what to do to see the screen of your Android on TV? In fact, it’s pretty easy.

Another method available on some devices is to choose the Quick Settings panel, which appears when you move your finger quickly up and down on the screen of the device. If you sample the Cast button or Cast Screen, you can select it and then select the device to which you want to transmit the screen of your Android device, rather than having to use the app Chromecast.

Once you begin to transmit the screen of your Android to your TV, an alert will appear in your notifications, and you will stop the transmission just by touching it.
