Travelling JetBlue will soon be more like sitting in your living room. At least that’s what awaits the company changes after announcing on Monday for the first time since 2000, its Airbus A320.

JetBlue, the airline based in New York, will introduce seats with high-definition displays and entertainment powered by the Android operating system in its fleet of 130 A320s. In addition, the aircraft will offer passengers an experience through which they can have free Wi-Fi from the gate and throughout the flight and enjoy not only the content but also the JetBlue offers passengers having their mobile device.

The A320 improvements include plugs and USB ports at every seat, screens that are 10 inches instead of 5.6, an offer three times DirecTV channels larger than the current, plus tunes audio in Spanish as well as English.

JetBlue also shared that used the next generation in-flight entertainment company Thales InFlyt Experience called STV + acronym meaning streaming TV.

The STV + technology was developed for the Android platform and will allow users to have a more personalized experience. Through its partnership with JetBlue it will be the first time that a passenger can synchronize your mobile device with a screen of an airline. This will open up opportunities for my passenger may, in the future, transmit video and audio content live screen seat.

The collaboration with Thales also extends to the availability of Wi-Fi free. Users will no longer need to turn off their phones at takeoff or landing and can continue surfing the Internet from the gate and throughout the flight. JetBlue had already announced it would start offering free Internet up to 20Mbps from the autumn of 2016.

However, the user does not need your phone to keep you entertained. JetBlue said it will increase the channels DirecTV offers from 36 to over 100, and will offer more than 300 films. This would be in addition to the agreement with JetBlue Amazon to allow Prime service users can watch videos of service aboard aircraft.

However, with the great improvements in aircraft technology also come a some sacrifice for travelers. JetBlue will add 12 more the A320 seats – increasing capacity of 150-162 passengers – but reduce the space for passengers in each seat.

Passengers begin to see changes in aircraft A320 from 2017.
