Google launched Android M, or Android 6.0 Marshmallow, its Nexus line of devices, and some OEM devices now receive the update. But Samsung OTA update to the new operating system is not in any of their devices, including badges of 2015, the S6 Galaxy and Galaxy Note 5.

Now it seems that there is a close release date these devices and, if a guide Samsung update is authentic.

The “Guide Upgrading to Android 6.0 (Phase 1)” as the document title says, includes a monthly launch date each flagship Galaxy for the last two years.

Filtered by “Xtech Leaks” and quoted by BGR, the document contains good news for owners of Notes and S models 2015 and 2014, if the document is genuine . That’s because it shows that most of the updates to the devices come in a month or two

Here is the release schedule update Samsung, according to filtration.

Samsung Galaxy S6 – February / March 2016

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge – February / March 2016

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + – February 2016

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 – February 2016

Samsung Galaxy S5 – March / April 2016

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 – March / April 2016

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge – March / April 2016

In addition, the document shows that the status of updates is “approved”. That probably means it was “approved” by Samsung, leaving open the possibility that operators from the US have to perform their tests before launching the update.

That would add a few weeks, at least, to the release schedule update, but as described by Samsung, the launch is monthly and it already could be considered.

As it is said that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be revealed soon, during the Mobile World Congress 2016 in mid-February, it is good to see the rest of the insignia of Samsung will be updated. As the leak has not been confirmed, it is best to take this with a grain of salt.
