Is it bad for the smartphone application Facebook ? Apparently with the social network and messaging application Messenger, the phone would work slower, s ccording DiscoMark tests with the app.
In the Reddit website, a user group published its results after running the application DiscoMark, which measures the performance of the phone based on the time it takes to open applications. These tests indicate up to 15% improvement in speed without Facebook installed.
Testing conducted by the specialized portal Unocero, who used the Mate 8 Huawei and conducted three tests confirm this claim.
This site relates that uninstalling Facebook Messenger, restart the computer and apply the test DiscoMark with a group of 10 applications (Analytics, Camera, Chrome, Gmail, Instagram, Maps, Nike Running , Telegram, Twitter, WhatsApp), the result was 3822 seconds.
Then, reinstall Facebook and Messenger, reboot and do the same test with the same applications. The result was 4,483 seconds.
The third test conducted Unocero was not Facebook or Messenger, but with Facebook Lite and the result , they say, was 3959 seconds.
