Microsoft is adding a couple of new and useful for application messaging Skype for Android features. The biggest innovation is the ability of users to open Word, PowerPoint or Excel attachments directly from the Skype application.

Microsoft is also adding a way for users to schedule calls with your email Outlook and the calendar application from within Skype.
“Click on the person you want to schedule a call, then tap the in the upper right menu and select schedule a call” . You can also use another calendar application, if you prefer. Create an event and send the invitation. It is easy!
