The new section Spotify video, called Video Software is available to users with Android devices, as well as for Users with iPhone or iPod.

A report from The Wall Street Journal said on January 25 that Spotify reach Video Android users this week, while iOS users would have to wait until February. However, on Thursday, Spotify is updated in both mobile platforms to incorporate the new video feature the popular music app.

The new section of video programs Spotify is under Explore & gt; Programs & gt;. Programmes video

From there you can see all the video program you have available Spotify. When you open one you can select Continue so you stay informed of each new video program with ease; well, that it appears in your Library ( Programs ). At the same time you can choose between the different videos that the program has to start playing.

The experience offered by Spotify Video is relatively good and have not had any problems with it. In general, playback interface is very similar to what we know in YouTube. In addition, this new section is free, so do not have to be a subscriber premium Spotify.

At first, Spotify Video is only available in the US, United Kingdom, Germany and Sweden, but is expected to eventually reach other countries. Also, the release of the function may be progressive, so not all users will receive it today, but may do so in the coming days.

Video is a big step that Spotify gives to diversify a little and not only provide streaming of music.
