Reducing consumption data on your Android phone – CNET in Spanish

Many operators worldwide limited data (Internet) you have available on your cell phone plan, they charge extra for consuming more than what you have established in your plan or reduce surfing speed after some use. Be aware every day of what you consume over the Internet is not fun, but the app Opera Max helps you save data without you noticing.

Android app helps you to reduce data consumption by compressing videos, photos and music directly or enjoy visualize directly from the Internet. Therefore, This app for Android you can reduce data consumption without changing your behavior.

For example, you can browse Chrome or Facebook normally while you consume less data than they normally would, watch movies on Netflix or videos YouTube, like consuming less data while listening to music on services like MixRadio, Pandora or Slacker Radio.

  1. Download and install Opera Max on your phone with Android 4.0 or higher.
  2. Open the app. After the tutorial select Connect under Start saving and then agree to give permission to install a VPN connection.
  3. Open the menu by pressing the icon of “burger” in the upper left. There, you can select if you want Opera Max is active only in cellular networks (mobile) or Wi-Fi too.
