Gradually, Google is distributing on Android 6.0 Marshmallow … – La Voz del Interior

Without making too much noise Marshmallow Android 6.0 began to land on some phones the local market. In our case, we are testing it in the latest model from Motorola, the Moto X Play.

At first glance, in interface and design, the new version of the operating system Google has no more news to display. Continues its aesthetic based on material design, which has been met with high level of satisfaction among users. Brand new start in the application menu layout as the top adds a box in which the four most recently used applications are located above it and a search space to quickly access the desired app without search among all installed on the computer. Below, all applications are arranged alphabetically and the scroll is performed vertically and not horizontally.

Perhaps the most remarkable and useful updates to Marshmallow is providing the ability to manage permissions for each of the installed applications. Thus, we can see all the apps that access our image gallery, camera, microphone, contacts and mobile storage space, among many other variables. If we believe that a certain application does not have to have certain permits, we can easily revocárselo.

The new Android Doze mode incorporating 6 allows a longer duration of battery power since while the phone is idle, only it allows -called important notifications and other messages-and restricted to the computer screen does not wake up repeatedly by lower interest notices. A useful feature indeed.

Without having used yet, we know that this new version of Android includes the ability to make mobile payments through Pay service the emerging Android. It also has the Google Now on Tap, function providing information at the touch of a word or a text message we’re reading, for example, if we meet in a bar, playing their address name appears on the same screen message.

In turn, Marshmallow includes natively support fingerprint reader, which will be used on computers that will be launched this year and bring that capacity.
