Adding Chrome bookmarks to the main screen … – CNET in Spanish

When you open the Chrome browser on Android, you’ll probably be greeted with the last Web page you were visited. This is useful if you want to see it again, but if you want to visit a specific site, you need to open your bookmarks and then tap the link.

You can skip the extra step by simply adding markers the sites you visit frequently in Chrome to the main screen of your Android phone

Here is how you can do it.

  • Press and hold on the Home screen where you want the shortcut to counter appears. You appear another screen and see in the bottom three options, select Widgets from the menu. Depending on your device, you may have to play Applications & Widgets or a similar menu item name.

  • Scroll to the right until you find the widget or Chrome bookmark icon will be a yellow box with a . White Star
  • Keep it down and drag it to the Home screen to the place that had previously chosen. Make sure there is enough space on your home screen to add correctly the new widget .
  • Now highlight the screen in Chrome where you stored the bookmarks of your favorite web pages. Choose the label for which you want the shortcut. You will see how to change the icon name to the name of the site. If you touch it, the web page opens.

You can add markers as you like in the home screens you want, as long when there is enough space. Do not see your favorite available in the list of desktop browser app in the list, you have to activate the synchronization of Chrome.
