Microsoft signs deal with Asus to preload Office apps … – CNET in Spanish

Asus is the new company that will incorporate Microsoft services on their mobile devices, according to could know the site ZDNet, CNET and CNET brother in Spanish. The companies have signed a broad patent agreement that will allow users find apps like Word, PowerPoint and Excel preloaded on mobile devices acquire the Taiwanese firm.


The agreement is similar to that made Microsoft and Samsung a few months ago following a legal dispute over licensing of Android, which finally ended in incorporating Office applications on devices like the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

ZDNet says that Microsoft already has at least 30 allies in Android manufacturers are distributing their applications tablets and mobile phones. The company could be running an agreement with each company which is left with fewer royalties to ensure greater market share.


Since CEO Satya Nadella came to Microsoft, the company has radically changed its Closed philosophy to find a way to get to all devices and operating systems in the world, starting system, not surprisingly, for Android and iOS, where most of its apps are available.

In addition, Microsoft has allowed its developers to create Microsoft Garage, a division that allows them to create apps for platforms other than Windows but largely promoting the services of the company.
