emojis that are available on iOS 9.1 from this week will come to Android soon, according to the vice president of the platform.

Hiroshi Lockheimer, vice president of Android at Google, apologized on Twitter for the delay in the arrival of new emojis in Android, but says he is listening to users and their feedback and promises that they are working to add new icons.

Usually, Android users take longer to receive the emojis. Apple makes it faster because their updates reach almost all your devices.

For example, in the case of IOS 9, which was released on September 16, the adoption rate exceeds 60 percent. Marshmallow Android, on the other hand, is only available for the Nexus 5 and older and their adoption rate still does not appear in the figures for Google.

The new emojis are also available for OS X El Capitan and compatible with Apple Watch from this week. The emojis are composed of new cartoons from unicorns, tacos, religious buildings, the burrito (the American cousin of the taco) and to a emoji used to combat bullying on the Internet.
